Paidy introduces 3 postpaid payments with no split fee

On October 27, Paidy, a postpaid payment service, introduced a service that frees three-time installment fees.

Paidy is a service that allows you to pay for products purchased from online shopping sites the following month (so-called postpayment). The selling point is that even people who do not have a credit card can shop.

The newly introduced “3 times deferred payment” is characterized by not collecting a split fee regardless of the payment amount. To use it, you need to tap the item “Change to 3 times payment” displayed on the app after the payment is completed.

In addition, the user can set the maximum amount, but online non-face-to-face identity verification (eKYC) is required.

Paidy says, “The number of people who are hesitant to purchase online shopping sites is increasing because of the high split fee, and we will respond to the requests from people who use Paidy.”
