King Jim, which handles digital stationery and office supplies, will release the “Digital Earplugs” (MM3000), which is equipped with noise canceling technology in a housing like a completely wireless earphone, on December 14th. The price is 13,000 yen (excluding tax).
Digital earplugs are products that claim to be able to hear people’s voices while cutting up to about 20 dB of environmental noise such as vehicle noise and air conditioning noise. The small microphone inside the earphone picks up the ambient sound, and the noise is canceled by generating sound waves in the opposite phase to the noise picked up by the microphone.
When you remove the main unit from the case, the noise canceling function is automatically turned on, and when you store it, charging starts. It has a continuous usage time of about 12 hours and can be charged with the included USB Type-C cable. Functions such as music playback function and noise canceling level adjustment are not installed.
