NTT DoCoMo announced that it will introduce two-step authentication to the “d account menu” from January 14, 2021. The aim is to strengthen identity verification and prevent unauthorized access by spoofing.
The d-account menu is a menu that allows you to make various settings related to the d-account, such as changing the d-account and password of the customer ID and setting 2-step authentication. After January 14, 2021, when logging in to the d account menu, two-step verification by the app or two-step verification by the security code will be required.
If you connect from the same browser, the second and subsequent two-step authentication will be omitted. Also, if you do not receive the security code, you will not be able to log in to the d account menu, so we are calling for you to add or change your contact email address.
